A brief post that marks today’s Ukraine’s National Flag Day, celebrated since 2004.

I expect everyone will be familiar with the striking Ukrainian flag, whose blue and yellow colours feature on the covers of many recent books about Ukraine and also in various badges and the like to show solidarity with the country during Russia’s war.
